Our Team
We Built the Practice We Wished Existed
Houston Healing Collective was built around a simple observation: people were managing, even functioning, but not getting to the source of what kept pulling them back. Traditional approaches helped. But they didn't always reach what needed to be reached.
That led us to EMDR, ketamine-assisted therapy, therapeutic yoga, and other approaches that work at the level of the nervous system and the body, not just the mind. For many clients, these opened a door that years of other treatment hadn't.
Our team was built around that belief. Clinicians with the depth, specialization, and training to sit with complexity rather than shy away from it.

Founder | Therapist
If you have spent years trying to understand yourself, reading, working on it, sitting through therapy, and still feel like something important has not moved, I may be the right fit.
I work with complex, layered cases. Trauma that has impacted the body long after the mind made sense of it. Eating disorders rooted in patterns that started long before the behaviors appeared. Perfectionism that is woven into identity. These are not cases that respond well to generic approaches, and I do not use generic approaches.
My work draws on over 14 years of clinical experience across inpatient, residential, and outpatient settings. I incorporate EMDR, ketamine-assisted therapy, ketamine-assisted EMDR, trauma-informed yoga, and IFS-informed work alongside my relational approach. My path to this work runs through my own experience. As a recovering perfectionist and former dancer, I spent years learning to push through discomfort and perform rather than feel.
My own process of reconnecting, through embodied practice and ketamine-assisted therapy, shaped everything I now bring to my clients.

Trauma and Eating Disorder Therapist

Some people need a therapist who will sit with them in the hard places without hesitating. My clients describe me as warm and patient, able to hold all the parts of you without judgment, and genuinely willing to go wherever the work needs to go.
I work with teens and adults navigating trauma, eating disorders, body image concerns, mood and anxiety, and life transitions. I'm especially drawn to working with thoughtful, self-reflective people who are ready to engage more deeply in the process, not just understand their patterns, but actually move through them.
My approach draws on EMDR, Ketamine-Assisted EMDR, ketamine-assisted therapy, and IFS-informed therapy. I began my career in 2020 running a community mental health program for children, families, and teens, went on to earn my MSW from Boston University, and worked as an in-home family therapist, where I developed strong roots in relational dynamics, attachment, and family systems. That foundation shapes everything about how I work today.

Jamie Weiser, LMFT-A
Individual, Family, and Couples Therapist
Supervised by Lindsay McCarthy PhD, LMFT-S, LCDC
If you're hurting from a betrayal, a growing disconnection, or an intimacy that has gone quiet, whether in a relationship or on your own, I hold that kind of work with care and without judgment.
I work with adults, couples, and families navigating relationship challenges, infidelity, intimacy and sexual concerns, trauma, mood, and anxiety. I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method, and I offer individual and couples ketamine-assisted therapy for clients who are open to that approach.
I bring over 13 years of experience working with children and families across developmental stages. Before entering the clinical field, I worked in event management, including coordinating weddings, work that required navigating high emotion, stress, conflict, and complex interpersonal dynamics in real time. That background shows up in the calm, organized, and steady presence I bring to the therapy room.

Trauma, OCD, and Eating Disorder Therapist

If you're living with OCD, an eating disorder, or both, you know the thoughts, the rituals, and the rules don't just respond to willpower or insight. They need real, specialized treatment. That's what I'm trained to do.
I work with OCD, eating disorders, body image concerns, anxiety, and trauma. I'm trained in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), DBT, CBT, and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). And when something deeper is keeping a person stuck, I use EMDR and ketamine-assisted therapy to address the trauma underneath.
I earned my MSW from the University of Texas at Austin and hold the Eating Disorder Informed Professional (EDIP) designation through Eating Recovery Center. My background includes private practice and university settings, where I worked with college students navigating mental health and substance use challenges.

I know what it feels like to start over. Career changes, international moves, reinvention, and the disorientation of building a life that no longer looks like the one you planned.
I work with teens, young adults, and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and major life transitions. I'm drawn to supporting people through change, identity shifts, and the overwhelm that comes with uncertainty or loss. My approach is deeply relational, helping you understand the patterns and inner narratives keeping you stuck.
I hold an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of St. Thomas and a BS in Psychology from Binghamton University, with specialized training in EMDR and ketamine therapy. I draw on CBT, ACT, and IFS to tailor treatment to what you actually need.
Before this field, I spent over a decade in oil and gas, living across New York, Houston, Singapore, Geneva, and the Bahamas. I'm also a mother of three. Those moves, reinventions, and moments of feeling disconnected are exactly what allow me to connect with clients in the middle of their own pivotal moments.

If your relationship with your body has felt complicated because of pain, injury, or experiences that have left you disconnected, I get it. Yoga is about building a relationship with your body that actually works for you.
I spent nearly a decade as a Special Education teacher and coach across multiple sports. That work taught me that everyone arrives with a different history, different needs, and different strengths. The job is never to fit someone into a system. It is to build on what is already there.
My own path to teaching yoga came through a brain injury.
Movement helped me in ways I did not expect, steadying my nervous system, rebuilding connection, and learning to work with my body rather than against it. That experience is not background information. It is the foundation of how I work. I completed my RYT-200 training with a specialty in chair yoga and accessible movement, and I have a particular interest in using movement as a tool for integration, including for people engaged in psychedelic-assisted therapy work.
Safety and comfort come before performance in everything I do. If you have had a complicated relationship with your body, whether from trauma, an eating disorder, injury, or pain, I know how to create a space where movement feels safe.

How We Match You With the Right Therapist
When you reach out, you don't have to figure out who to work with on your own. That's part of what the free consultation is for.
We'll listen to what's going on, ask about what you've tried before, and be honest about which clinician and approach makes the most sense for you. If you have a preference for a particular therapist or approach, we take that seriously.
And if we're not the right fit, we'll tell you. We'd rather help you find the right place than start work that isn't going to serve you.

Ready to Find Out If We're the Right Fit?
The consultation is free. Just a real conversation about where you are and what you need.
